And that is use of the term "baserape". For one it just sounds ...wrong, and technically it is AGAINST our Code of conduct and our rules to use such a term.
Yes we all have used this term at one time or another as it is part of the gaming culture,but we here at edge-gamers are held to a higher standard because we ARE a better standard and I do not know about the rest of you but I try to improve MY standards because of this.
So I challenge all of us to change our habit just a bit, maybe instead of using this slang term of which many non english speaking people may not understand, in our kick and ban reasons, we should use terms EVERYONE will understand such as
!kick Beemermarine for attacking the deployment area or !kick Beemermarine for entering the enemy deployment area, this leaves zero doubt of the rule broken, for everyone knows what the deployment area is(some do not know it is referred to as the "uncaps")
A little rewording could mean the difference of a player returning or flat out leaving the server all together because they do not understand what we are trying to say to them.
