So just playing on jail on VIP in the mix and we played a total of 2 games and killed 7/8s of the players. I don't understand why nobody thinks this is a bad thing to happen. The two games we played was jumping from pillars to get on top of box room killed 1 player, to playing primary, secondary, melee killing the rest but 4. How is this ok? This is how most games go on come maps play 2 games. I understand that you want there to be more lrs per map but how is that fun? i want to play on the jail map to rebel and kill cts not play on the map to get lr. Luck based games are too overpowered on jail and thats not even the tip of the iceberg.
CTS are to trigger happy
-killing for being afk for more than 3 seconds(guess i cant admin anything and play or use the bathroom)
-turning my chair made mouse move on afk freeze ops im dead
-afk frozen looking down but crouched under stairs "yay more kills on the score board for me".
-Roulette is a joke and the cts can influence it (i saw it happen today and couldnt see who did it b/c glass doesn't show names through it so they killed red (3 players total)color until 1 left then switched to killing blue(6 players) after the ct switched the color until everyone was dead. Either have it so the map kills the t's or remove the game

I think the rules should state "if the t is following orders and not endangering a cts life a slight twitch or cant fully follow them b/c warden failed at something they shouldnt be killed." Should be in effect.
-AFK people should get killed after the t's have been out of cells for more than 10 seconds it gives people who ran to the bathroom real quick to come back and play and not wait a full round and give admins the same thing since they might be admining something at that time. just have a ct watch them
luck based games should only be played if 10 or less if its a ct hosting it like (primary, secondary, melee) but if its map based it has to be split even or close enough.

I can see why people complain to admins about things so much yet we really cant do anything because the rules are so loop holed its to funny. What the admin trainers should have done was have a meeting to talk about the rules with the people who actually play on the jail server after the merger so they can get a concept of what should/shouldn't be allowed and how to actually admin it, instead of just going through both rules of pg/eGO and combining it. I rarely see any person from eGO actually play on the jail server b/c its so toxic it really isnt fun and only the admins who came from pg play on it. yes i understand they have had a successful jail server for a long time but now that we merged all of our eGO regular jail players have either left or switched divisions because that jail server isnt fun. Its really sad.

Im actually rather trying to distance myself away from jail because its that bad and jail was what got me into eGO in 2010. I might be the only one who thinks this i might not be but its just my thoughts.

I want to also add do the T's really need to be unmuted mid round? why is this a thing it doesn't need to be a thing t's dont need to talk unless doing lr or last guard. Why don't t's get unmuted for last guard? its the same as LR except its the last ct.

Also I just want to say I am probably the only person from EGO who has spent a considerable amount of time on pg jail since the merge and I totally agree with Eric's points.

Since regular games shouldn't kill more than 50% of the Ts, I feel like luck based games should only have 2 options each with a 50% chance of selection. This would make it, that on average over a bazillion plays, only 50% are killed.

As for missing the start of the round and being killed; oh well. Don't go afk if you're going to complain about being killed for not following orders.

Also, I'm pretty sure shooting someone for a slight twitch while afk frozen is already against the rules.

We cant have too many rules, after all that may cause too many people to stop playing as overbearing rules impedes on their rights to get away with breaking the rules, be jerks to other players, and overall only creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for themselves and their friends.

I see a few things within this post that I don't fully agree with, but I want to address your thoughts on the server being so "bad and toxic". The thing you need to keep in mind is that Prestige Gaming's Jailbreak has a far more active player base then eGO's. I believe the main reason for players from eGO thinking the server is extremely toxic is because they aren't use to playing on a server with an active 40+ users daily. Same with admins from eGO, they aren't use to having to admin and pay attention to 40+ users at once.

As for the other things you pointed out most of them already have a rule around them.
- If your mouse moves slightly it is considered a twitch, which is allowed and Ts shouldn't be killed for.
- If the stairs above you are preventing you from standing up then you are still AFK frozen and the person that killed someone in this situation should be swapped instantly.
- As for roulette, I've never encountered anyone doing this but if you happen to catch the name swap them instantly for Server Disruption.

.

Actually we have its called dust 2 64 man server and only 1 admin on is much harder to deal with than a jail server especially on holidays when you can get 15 bans in 1 hr for hacks/racism/inappropriate sprays, plus our server usually had a player base its just it stopped b/c the community members got bored of it b/c nothing really got added other than maps and our maps where 90% eGO created maps so we new them like the back of our hands, what to do, where to go, and how to rebel perfectly. So its not about admins paying attention to 40+ people because that's not hard its pgs jail has so many strict rules, games that can kill the server b/c its luck based after the first little point to point game, and some rules that shouldn't really be a rule. eGO players don't play on it because it isn't fun for them for these reason and more. Not once have i seen any of our regular jail players from our server play on pg's jail server for more than an hr if not invited other than wase. They would rather go play TTT or MG or surf than the jail, or even leave the division witch some has done.

Can we PLEASE not turn this into a pG VS eGO war. We should be WAY past this at this point!! Everyone should be fighting for the same cause here, making an enjoyable playing experience for EVERYONE. This is getting absolutely ridiculous at this point, seeing this crap every day is only dividing people further for no reason.

Work together. Find common ground. Build a good server everyone can be happy with.

I guess I should weigh in here since a little bit of what I sat in on when I was a pG AT was to discuss rules regarding Jailbreak.
Even though I don't like it.

Every single rule on there is there for a reason.
Every single rule was added because of a huge concern.
Every single rule enforced is to help people have fun.

The rules I don't think are too hard to learn.
Though coming from someone who never learned much about them, it probably doesn't mean too much.

If you think they're too strict, then that's because we had a lot of people who loved to abuse and be toxic on before you that made us think about the rules a lot harder than anyone ever needed to.
And there are still rules that need to be made because people will find more and more loopholes to everything and we have to be so super specific and detailed in the rules so that they don't get away with it.

So I get it.
The rules are strict.
But they are there for a reason.

The rules are the way they are because it is a 52 slot server. 52! Most of the eGO players played on a server where 20 people were a lot, and that's how they liked it. I can't same I blame them because that's how I like it. However, the more people are better. It's very hard to kill off 30+ Ts in games with 8:30 minute round. But 10+ minute rounds would make people sick of waiting.

The numbers are the issues that we can't really control, causing the strictness.

Admining dust is far easier than admining jail. This isn't due to the rules being strict or lenient, but rather the complications of a custom game mode. And saying why others stopped playing is pure hearsay.

They play different games on our new jailbreak server, some of which have no skill involved; and that's OKAY. As a prisoner, you're in charge of your own fun. You dont like the games being played then sharpen your pitchfork and stab somebody. Do something about it. Crying about wardens didn't do anything before and it's not going to do anything now.

When we first merged, I played jail again for the first time in months. I only played for a few hours, but never once did I play a luck based game. That's not because they didn't try, but I refused to take my death bending over. If gta rp weren't fun, I would probably play a bit more of jail.

Coming from someone who spent 99% of his jailbreak time to loophole rules, I can tell you that no matter what rule you put in, it WILL be loopholed. There's no getting around it, it's inevitable.

-killing for being afk for more than 3 seconds(guess i cant admin anything and play or use the bathroom)
You're right, you can't. Every single admin deals with it when we play jailbreak, generally what we do is the admins who are dead do the admin stuff, that way the people who are alive can still play. A lot of players also respect the fact that we're doing admin stuff, and actually say "Don't kill him, he's probably doing admin stuff"
As for going to the bathroom, if you're gonna be gone for that long, it's completely fair that you should be killed. Anything longer than 3 seconds people would just abuse and try and purposely delay, and it would make things far more annoying than what they are now.

-turning my chair made mouse move on afk freeze ops im dead
Sounds like you just don't know the rules. CTs aren't allowed to kill you for twitching. And if it wasn't a twitch, then you completely deserved to die seeing how maybe you were trying to aim a gun at CTs, or who knows what which could've caused the round to be won by the Ts.

What you just said makes absolutely no sense, and I have not encountered this ONCE in my 40 days of playing jailbreak. Once they choose the colour to die, game is over. They can't keep playing it, seeing how you can only play a game once per round. Saiko is right that whoever was doing that needs to be swapped, possibly CT banned.

I think the rules should state "if the t is following orders and not endangering a cts life a slight twitch or cant fully follow them b/c warden failed at something they shouldnt be killed." Should be in effect.
This is actually already a thing, it's called:
As a guard, you must NOT ...
... kill prisoners for twitching (small mouse movements) when told to be AFK frozen.
and:
As a warden, you must NOT ...
... give dishonest, confusing, misleading or trap commands, for example:

If the warden gives a command that you cannot follow, it would be a trap command, and you should not be killed.

-AFK people should get killed after the t's have been out of cells for more than 10 seconds it gives people who ran to the bathroom real quick to come back and play and not wait a full round and give admins the same thing since they might be admining something at that time. just have a ct watch them
This would get abused so easily by people who just want to delay or cause trouble. Most admin stuff can also wait, unless it's someone mic/chat spamming or screaming the N word or something along those lines. If it's people complaining, you can deal with it after you die, and let them know that you're playing the game too and they need to be patient.

luck based games should only be played if 10 or less if its a ct hosting it like (primary, secondary, melee) but if its map based it has to be split even or close enough.
Fully agree with this. It used to be 10, but it got changed way back in a rules update we had. I was trying to get it changed to 15, but got overruled so...

What the admin trainers should have done was have a meeting to talk about the rules with the people who actually play on the jail server after the merger so they can get a concept of what should/shouldn't be allowed and how to actually admin it, instead of just going through both rules of pg/eGO and combining it.
The rules weren't combined at all, only a couple different things were added and it was clarification.
What does "how to actually admin it" even mean? The way we did stuff was fine, most of the time the issues from admins came from people not enforcing things they should, and enforcing things that really didn't need to be enforced.

I want to also add do the T's really need to be unmuted mid round? why is this a thing it doesn't need to be a thing t's dont need to talk unless doing lr or last guard. Why don't t's get unmuted for last guard? its the same as LR except its the last ct.
It makes the game more fun? I would hate to play on the server if it was just guards talking the entire time. It lets people be more active and interact with each other. If people are screaming or doing something stupid, just mute them. The eGO people are the first people I've ever heard complain about Ts being unmuted mid round.
Also, they used to get unmuted a lot earlier, but it was changed in an update. People made a suggestion thread to unmute them earlier again because of how much people liked being able to talk earlier into the round.

I really think you need to go and re-read the rules, since it's clear you don't fully understand them which seems to be part of the problem here.

Since regular games shouldn't kill more than 50% of the Ts, I feel like luck based games should only have 2 options each with a 50% chance of selection. This would make it, that on average over a bazillion plays, only 50% are killed.
100% agree with this. It's garbage right now that I can say "pick a colour on 9 colours, all colours and directions except 1 colour facing a certain direction are going to die" and kill off basically every T. We had a suggestion for this in pG, and I know a lot of people really liked the idea.

umm
I think we need to start by actually getting people to follow the current rules instead of killing some one for breathing, and then letting the T's do what ever they want while CT's sit with multiple items stored in thy sphincter. Then maybe start bending the rules for the 9th time.

Quoting your post because you're right and this needs to stop. I know there were growing pains at first but this kind of stuff doesn't help anyone. If the leadership team starts having to talk to people about this again, it won't end well for those involved. Knock it off
